Tycho at House of Blues

I don’t know that I’ve ever listened to any artist more than Tycho. My go to soundtrack when it’s time to work, think, or relax for over fifteen years. Tycho is the perfect soundscape for anything I’m doing at any given moment in time. It was a pleasure to finally see them perform live and an even greater pleasure to photograph the show. They were absolutely incredible!

ONWARD

It’s feeling good to ride around the neighborhood again. I need to work on getting out more, but that shouldn’t be a problem as the days get warmer and longer. It’s been over four years since this blog existed, but here it is again for now. I’m not sure what I’m hoping to achieve - other than maybe redefining my love of photography and the arts and documenting it along the way. A lot has changed in the time since the pandemic began and I’d say some things are better than ever! Anyways, I hope you’re having a good day. I’m having a good day.

CURTAIL - LIVE IN CONCERT

WOW IT FEELS LIKE THIS SHOW WAS A YEAR AGO! These past days and weeks have been very weird. Before all the madness really set in, I was able to go to Canton to see my friends in Curtail play at The Auricle with The Get Up Kids. Here are some photos I took while they played. It’s been a li’l bit since I did the whole show photo thing so it was nice to get back to my roots for a night.

LAST GASP DEMO

My good buddies started a new band called Last Gasp and used this photo I took while driving as the cover for their demo. I shot this photo blind with a film camera (I forget which) and ended up with a mostly poorly framed photo of the city, but I think it works well for this! It will be seeing a vinyl release as a 7” and I’m looking forward to adding to my collection.

RECENT FLIGHTS

I just wanted to share a few photos of Cleveland that I’ve taken recently with the drone! I didn’t fly nearly enough in 2019, so 2020 will be spent learning the ins and outs of the little flying camera. Hopefully cool art will be made… Cleveland is always there for me as a beautiful subject morning, day, and night.

RUBBER BOWL RUINS

I found myself wandering around my hometown of Akron, Ohio recently. I thought it would be fun to check out what was left of the Rubber Bowl since it’s partial demolishing. I would have loved to capture the space from my drone, but being literally on an airport made it impossible at the time.
