Growing up, adults would ask me, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” My response was always, “I want to be an author and an illustrator!” It didn’t quite end up that way, as I am neither, but I didn’t veer too far off of that path. I guess, I am an author of sorts, when it comes to copy writing for social media posts and brand tag lines. And I do illustrate the world around me, however that is with a camera lens and not a pen. I am a terrible illustrator in the classic sense of the word. That’s probably why I picked up a camera. It doesn’t matter. I’m still making art. And, to think of it, I do spend a lot of time in Adobe Illustrator goofing around with fonts for fun. So maybe I am an illustrator after all.
I love people that deserve to be loved and I help people that want to be helped. I’ve been doing this for a long time and I’ve taken long periods of time away from doing this. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for my entire life. I grew up in it. The lessons learned in the restaurants and bars carry across to how I approach my work as a creative helper. I’m not working for a tip, however, I’m working for your trust; trust in me to deliver a great image, graphic, video, or plan.
I live in Cleveland, Ohio with my beautiful partner Sarah along with our two amazing dogs, Oliver and Milo. I have many records, a few books, and way too many televisions. I love to cook and I love to eat food that other people cook.
